Implants are the treatment most people ask us about, and for good reason. According to Market.us, 38.2% of dental tourism procedures in 2023 were implants. In the US they are also among the most expensive treatments, which is exactly where getting them abroad makes the biggest difference.

Two visits, 4 months apart
An implant takes two visits. On the first one, we place the implant: the titanium screw that becomes the base of your new tooth. Then you go home and heal for 4 months while it bonds with the bone. On the second visit, at 4 months, we place the crown.

What about bone grafting?
Some patients need more bone where the implant will go, for example after a tooth has been missing for a while. In those cases a bone graft rebuilds the area so the implant has a solid base. If your screening shows you need one, it becomes part of your treatment plan from the start, so there are no surprises once you’re in Medellín.
Is it worth it?
For many patients, the savings on a single implant cover the trip, and on full-mouth work the difference can be thousands of dollars. Add certified specialists, an English-speaking team and help with every part of the trip, and it’s easy to see why so many Americans are choosing it.
